IDIS has announced the launch of its cost effective new IDIS Lite Series cameras. This series includes IP67 and IK10 rated NDAA compliant cameras.
The new line-up of cameras
The camera series includes a range of 2MP and 5MP cameras, equipped with lenses that enable clear identification from any angle of the scene.
Although the cameras are a more affordable option, they are still high performing, the company reports.
The cameras have a three-axis design for easier pan, tilt and horizontal adjustment and come with a practical choice of brackets and mounts.
The brackets and mounts offer click and play setup, ensuring users have an easier set up and extended ONVIF compatibility.
The new range was designed as a surveillance solution that benefits systems integrators and end users with assured performance and operation, as well as lowering operating costs.
The new line-up offers the benefits of an optimised, user-friendly interface and compatibility with IDIS recording solutions, ensuring that surveillance systems are scalable, flexible and future-proofed.

The IDIS Lite cameras use Sony Starvis CMOS image sensors to ensure crisp, high-definition monitoring and recording 24/7.
To ensure outstanding image capture in darkness, IR illumination is automatically focused to ensure that the field of view is consistently lit, providing up to 30 metres of nighttime vision.
The use of True WDR and an automatic iris, IDIS has resolved the exposure issues caused by uneven lighting.
The dome camera features a patented IDIS design that eliminates IR reflection without bubbles.
The 5MP IR turret camera are designed with a flat face with fixed and varifocal lens options, either the DC-D2511WER or the DC-D2531WER, which enable high quality day and night images.
